Shipping
At Wooden Crate Creations orders
are filled and shipped on a first come first served basis. Most orders are
shipped out within 24-48 hours unless otherwise requested. More time for shipments
may be required for custom or multiple orders. Shipping cannot be guaranteed
during busy holiday times, but we will strive to have your baskets shipped
within 72 hours. Orders being paid for by cash can only be shipped to the
person ordering the basket as cash is due on delivery unless prior arrangements
have been made.
Weekend Shipping
We currently do not offer weekend shipping. Orders placed before 5pm EST Friday
will be shipped on Monday. Orders placed after 5:00pm EST on Friday and orders placed on the weekend will not be processed
until Monday.
Shipping Charges
Currently we are offering FREE shipping to Oshawa. For multiple orders within
the FREE area, free shipping charges are for deliveries to one address only. Each additional address will be charged a $3.00
shipping fee per address. Most deliveries within Durham Region will be hand delivered by our local courier.
Shipping charges to other areas are as follows:
Courtice/Bowmanville - $9.00
Whitby/Ajax/Pickering - $7.50
Scarborough/Toronto - $10.00
Etobicoke/Thornhill/Richmond Hill/Markham/Aurora/Newmarket - $15.00
Concord/Woodbridge/Brampton/Mississauga - $15.00
Port Perry - $17.00
Oakville - $17.00
Rest of Ontario - $15.00
Rest of Canada (some rural areas may require a delivery surcharge) - $20.00
We ship using either a local courier or FedEx and please note that
shipping charges are per basket. Shipping times will vary from 1-5 business days after the basket is shipped depending on where the basket is being shipped to. Rush or same day deliveries will incur additional charges. Please contact us for these prices.
Late Deliveries
We do everything possible to ensure that your baskets are delivered on time.
If for some reason a basket is delivered late Wooden Crate Creations cannot be held responsible and no refund will be given
for this. Unfortunatley once a basket has left us it is in the hands of a courrier company and we have no control over them or when they do their deliveries.
Deliveries & Re-deliveries
We will make every effort to deliver a basket the first time. In the case that
there is no one home to receive a delivery we will make every attempt to leave the basket with a neighbour or in a secure area
(front porch). Baskets that are shipped via FedEx will need a signature as proof of delivery. We are not able to leave the basket if no one is available and a redelivery (one) attempt will be made the next business day free of charge. If this is not possible and a third delivery attempt is needed an additional cost
will be charged to the customer. If a basket is returned to us due to incorrect information making it undeliverable an additional
cost will be charged to the customer for it to be redelivered. Please make sure all information is correct before placing an order.
We sugest that you ship to a business address if possible as it is easier for our delivery professionals to deliver the basket as most
deliveries are made during regular business hours.
Refunds
We want you our customers to be satisfied with your purchase. If your shipment appears to have
been opened, damaged or tampered with in any way please let us know within 24 hours so that we may make a claim with the carrier and make arrangements
for you to receive a new basket or a refund if needed. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your basket please call us within 48 hours of
delivery of the basket and we will be glad to discuss your options with you. We will not accept any basket returns without a return authorization from
Wooden Crate Creations first. Shipping costs (both the original and to send it back to us) are the responsibility of the customer and no refund will be
given for this. Baskets must be in their original condition and packages must not be open. Please keep all packaging if your basket has arrived damaged
as it may be required by the courrier company.
We are sorry but we cannot issue any returns due to the fact that the products
inside the basket did not meet one's desired tastes.
